Topic: 8th Annual Bigfoot Offroad Xtravaganza

Fellow family members, I would like to invite you to come to my race held at Enid R/C Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma. The race will be held on Feb. 20th and 21st of this year.Website is www.enidrcracing.com Soon the entry form and online entries will be available thru the website. We also have discussion forums accessable thru the ft. page of the website, just click on forums, and the link will take you there.

Thursday the 18th will have limited practice from 6 to 7:30, with a club race held that evening. Friday the 19th will be practice for entered racers from 12 noon till 9 pm. Saturday will be all the qualifying, 4 rounds, Ifmar qualifying, 2 best runs count. All main events will be held Sunday. Triple a mains.

Last year the main events ran pretty smoothly and we were out of the track around 4pm if i remember correctly, giving you plenty of time to start your drive home.

The track size is approximently 100 X 65... hard packed clay that usually will be damp and not hard on tires. Lately JC blue barcodes have been the tire of choice for buggy and truck, but PL M3 Suburbs work, Losi pink x-2000's, Losi pink Kingpins, and at our fall race some ran the HB tires, I am unsure of the compound tho.

If anyone has questions, feel free to ask here or thru the forums from the track website. My post name on that forum is Gary O. I think Clayton has come down before, and Jeremy Blair has been there several times also.

Hey what am I chopped liver?
just kidding I am heading down there Friday morning.
Man with this race and Motoramma on the same weekend should hopefully be a good weekend for the Family.
Good luck to Paul and the rest of the famliy that will be at the Motoramma.

Re: 8th Annual Bigfoot Offroad Xtravaganza

HOld us up, Jeremy!

There are sooo many races now...

Re: 8th Annual Bigfoot Offroad Xtravaganza

Us jr members of the family will try and hold things together..

I am running my SCX-60 Bigfoot prototype in the open class !

Re: 8th Annual Bigfoot Offroad Xtravaganza

I don't think there are "jr" members of the Family.  I don't think of my little brother as a junior member.  Each has his (or her) own place in life and we each do the best we can with what we've got.  Some are World Champion drivers, others are weekend warriors, even once-a-month warriors.  But all part of a great and growing Family!

Re: 8th Annual Bigfoot Offroad Xtravaganza

Chazz me and Gary are just trying to poke a little humor at you guys.
Have a good weekend we will try and put up some good results this weekend.
Gary see you Friday morning.
Jeremy

Re: 8th Annual Bigfoot Offroad Xtravaganza

THe 8th Annual Bigfoot Offroad Xtravaganza went off very well. 214 entries, 4 rounds of qualifying in one day (16 hours worth) triple a mains....

I know Andrew made the a's in stock buggy and stock truck with his X-6^2 and X-60, finishing 9th and 4th respectivly.

Jeremy was 8th in 4w mod A main, 4th in the b main mod truck, and 5th in the b main mod buggy.

I was 8th in the a main mod truck, TQ and 2nd overall in the Open SCT a main, and 3rd in the b main mod buggy.

Local driver Bryce Longpine was 5th in the sportsman A main with what I believe was an origional X-6 buggy.

Re: 8th Annual Bigfoot Offroad Xtravaganza

Big thanks to Gary and Darin and everyone else that made the race awsome. It was for sure a long day Saturday with not getting done till around 2:30am. One thing Gary I talked to Darin about was the Electric 1/8 scale they really tore up that 4 pack on the left. I am all about trying to make the race for as many people as possible just would have made that section a little easier I think. None the less I will be back again next year for sure hopefully have a little better luck. thanks again Gary it was fun as always. Jeremy

Re: 8th Annual Bigfoot Offroad Xtravaganza

Gary, thanks for putting on a great race. I had a blast. I really wish I would have woke up earlier on Sunday morning so I could have raced the first heat of Stock truck. I think I would have been 3rd overall had I gotten to race that round. Oh well, my fault. haha. Now I just gotta practice and save up for a good speedo to replace my $59 remanufactured Novak Havoks that I run in my cars, lol. Im lucky that these X cars handle so well in the infield because people were blowing by me on the straights with their timing boost! hahaha
