X Factory Success in Australia!

Over the last weekend in August there were a few regional races in Australia, and a few drivers wrote to us to let us know of their success. Team driver Scott Pettet said, "Just wanted to drop you a note about some great success for X-Factory at this weekend’s Club Challenge round at the Ryde track in Sydney. I won mod truck with my X - 60 and placed 3rd in mod buggy. I'm sure I would have challengened for the win if I had qualified higher, but only managed 5th on the grid due to no practice on the new, very technical, layout. Ashley Anthony TQ'd and won stock buggy with his X - 6², with another X car in 2nd. X-Factory had a good spread of cars through all A-finals, with at least two in each main and wins in two out of the four classes.

"There were lots of comments about how good both the buggy and truck looked on the track. Mine were really dialled! I know of at least two guys from the weekend who said they’re now going X-Factory :). I’d estimate that X-Factory is now the second most popular chassis in both buggy and truck here in Sydney!"

Mic Sallis posted on the X Factory Forum about the XF Family doing well in Victoria, Australia, on the same weekend.

"Well just got back from the Wodonga drivers round and it was a good weekend for the X factory team from Keilor with all X6's making the A final! Our new team mate Glenn Wilson's first big meeting with the X - 6² TQ'ed and won the first two finals to take the meeting... well done Glenn. I had speedy and motor problems all day and even though I missed one of the finals still managed to bring home 3rd so all was not lost. I eventually worked out it was a dodgy motor, even though I'd just taken it out of the box :-\. Overall, X Factory qualified 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th, won the meeting, and had 2 cars in the top 3.

All cars were running my set up as posted on your site [note: found here] and we only had to change tyres with the changing track surface... the cars were great!

I know there are a few "State Titles" races coming up soon, so best of luck to all the X Factory guys in Australia. Here's to continued racing success!
