Sinclair, The Ohio MS Society Win Big at DORCOT

The Delaware Ohio RC Off-Road Track hosted their 5th annual Sultiple Sclerosis Benefit Race this past weekend. While rain threatened all morning, the tarp was pulled off around 10am and the racing action soon heated up.

By the time the dust settled, 70+ racers had come together and raised more than $750 to donate to the Ohio chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. X Factory's Paul Sinclair donated his announcing voice, but also managed to get his X - 6 Cubed down for some racing of his own. The top of the 2wd Mod Buggy class was a fight, with Sinclair taking TQ by 3 seconds over local racer Rob Mangold. In the main though, after an early mistake, it was all Sinclair, laying down the fastest laps of the race on his way to victory. Paul said, "My Cubed was dialed from the start; the new Maclan motor I'm running was able to stretch it's legs here with the long front straight. I was just glad to be able to help out with this great event; all of us racers helping out a great cause."

X Factory's Billy Maus was also in attendance, battling

for the lead in the Pro 2 SCT class before finishing second. Billy qualified 4th in 2wd mod buggy before breaking in the main event.

Track owner Joe Wileschael was glad to see the turnout after the rough weather the evening before. "A huge thanks to all the great sponsors of this event. It's great to see all their support of our racers and the event itself!" Those sponsors include familiar RC companies as well as local companies and eateries: JConcepts, Tekin, Ready Made RC, Hurricane Hobbies, RCSignup, Tractor Supply Co, JEGS Racing, Marathon Gas, and Dairy Queen.
